Music News: Pusha T - Notorious B.I.G. Was the Greatest Rapper Who's Ever Lived

This new album/project is literally a movie, kudos to them.
Ralph Ellison wrote that the old man’s breathing sputtered like the flame from the candle. When you read something like that, it changes you.

I have never moved coke down I-95 and I’ve never fucked a chick whose man played for the New York Knicks. But it doesn’t mean that I can’t imagine it. A writer’s job is to bring the reader into their world.

I’m driving back from the dentist with my son when Kendrick’s verse comes on as my son listens to some bullshit in the back seat. At the end of Kendrick’s verse, I smiled, I turned around, and demanded my son listen to the verse because I was compelled to learn it to the youngin.

"Understand the art of war
All my niggas draw, so we all Picasso's
Me just being me, respect to PnB
I prolly never eat at Roscoe's"

Remember when I said was Pusha using "draw" as a multiple meaning term on So Be It, one being the Philly slang? He did it again and made it more obvious this time by using it right before referencing a Philly rapper. Folks on Threads said I was reaching.

Craft still matters. We are just missing the Source and XXL magazine roll out.

The language dynamics of this are impressive but come off as nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black. Raging against social media marketing while on social media is fake. Tiny Desk is last platform that cares about music, what????

Malice is still dealing with some internal conflicts. These are two grown ass rich men, I wonder if they teach the bible to their their kids while calling them n@@@s and their grandmother's bitches as much as it rolls off the tongues in these verses. Jesus is coke rap and MAGA, shit is really fucked up:smh:

I was surprised they took shots at Chad with that no more Neptunes line, let Chad live in peace . Maybe I am taking it wrong.

I can recall many fans and reviewers disliking the GAME for all the callouts to build out his bars. This album is eerily similar to that style.

Biden caught a stray. Britney Griner was released by Biden. Nas's flow has aged so well. I would have never expected this level of breath control and tightness at his age. He has redefined what an emcee "sounds like" in his fifties.

I didn't like the production on this album as much as others. We all exist in multiple worlds but falsetto ass Pharell singing about the crime life while waking fashion weak in gay mafia LV attire is wild as fuck to me.

Glad they made it, it's better than most, it's better than GNX, but it's just okay to me.

Doesn't sound like that at all to me. They Gen/Gin wordplay is the same thing he did with Push on Nosestalgia with Nine/Ten word play. I don't think that was a coincidence or something he had laying around
Laying around is exactly my point. Not bad, not great either. I'm not mad at it though.
