Saw the trailer today...was wondering what it was about.

This was an exceptional level of stupid shit. You know the movie is going to be a long ride when the smartest character thinks souls just need to come back to the bodies.

Bilbo and his wife do some shit that's so dumb that it makes the rest of the movie hard to sit through. I hate when people in post-apocalyptic movies try to act like shit is normal. When they know full well that they're living among rapists, raiders, and zombies.

Shit. 1. Dumb ass waving at people like he's in the Macy Thanksgiving parade. 2. Dumb ass wife had to go investigate in a dangerous world on her own. Airhead shit. 2. Dumb ass kept her along. 4. dumb ass one of those idiots wipe out their entire family because of a racoon being in the road. Hit that summabitch and keep it moving. He swerved to avoid a dead person.
5. Dumb ass let the bad guy live. Had this been one mistake, it would be tolerable.

Honestly we've seen too much zombie shit to think that everybody is going to be a grizzled veteran immediately after the zombie shit now that's not realistic.
If they came out the gate and smeared blood on themselves and did all the things we've learned after watching years of the walking dead 2 weeks after a zombie invasion then id call straight bullshit period.

This isn't even grizzled vet shit. It's basic. If you got a stubborn, airhead for a wife(or husband), tell them the boat ain't clear. That will keep their dumb ass from venturing around. Shit. What about if that thing got loose? So you just named a mistake I missed.
Also, the wife was the one who wanted to end it. I'm not shooting her, but restraining would be a could idea. Had nothing to do with wiping out the entire family.
They had no fucking common sense and shouldn't have even made it that far. They make the fear the walking dead people from season 1 look like negan. This should have been a short about a family quick to fall during the early stages.
