I watched it but never finished.

I need to give it a second look and to really pay attention without distractions.

It's a young adult novel from the 1970s that has been adapted for Black audiences and modern times.

If that's not your thing it's not going to hold your attention but people are trying to support it because it has a good looking and realistic Black cast, no mixed people and no gay shoe horning.

Like I said, I'm willing to check it out again .I want to give it a second look because I just felt when I first saw it, I was bored watching it.

So, therefore, I like to watch it again to pay attention of what I'm watching and then it starts to grow on me and I'm enjoying it.

Some people attention span are short that they have to give it a double take before they can actually enjoy a movie and show.

set in los angeles...how could i not like it?
cool to see familiar places on film.
one of those 'nothing else to see on netflix, i'll watch it'...and come away with 'better than advertised'
