15" subs hav noo sound quality the cones r tooo heavy to control adequately

4 12's are wayy better they hav a better response to tha music , due to the cone size the amplifiers hav better control nstead of tryna handle the 15's cone size

ive gone thru sooo much audio installs n my cars and clients vehicles. that now im tryna sell my 4 MA audio dvc 15's im tryna downsize n2 six 10" punch dvc subs.

One 15 and 2 10s is what i'm pushin...shit goes hard...i'd say it depends on what your lookin for...and what you got supporting it...what amps, how good your other speakers are your deck etc. Also depends on what 12s and 15s you got...say you got 4 12'' Square solo barics...your gonna be putting fuckin cracks in the street...them shits hit like 15s. The 10s hit like 12s.

When it comes to subs, quality over quanity will make a HUGE difference. I had 2 kicker l7 that were knocking but I met up with this guy who really knew what he was doing. I sold one and kept the other. He built me a box for $200 made out of some special type of wood. It was amazing, I had 1 12'' kicker that was louder than the 2 I had before. So my advice is to invest in a box and not the flea market junk like in those pictures and just get 1 12' or 15' and you will be straight.

Well negro what sounds better depends on several variables:
Enclosure type
Subwoofer type
Amplifier type & power
Vehicle Make & Model

But without knowing all that... I can tell you that all things considered equal 4 12's are going to be 2 15's. The reason is because of SURFACE AREA. The 4 12's have more cone surface area to reproduce bass frequencies.

But to be real with you... YOU WILL INCUR signifcant cost increases to run 4'12's the right way.. as compared to 2 15's

To do it right to run 4 12's you will need at least 2 sperate amps to runt the subs and a nice hefty capaciter. Plus you will probably want to get an Optima battery to make sure you have sufficient power.

2 15's would be cheaper.. and if powered correctly will give you more BASS than you can handle.
