Need some Info:startup business

i am looking to start a small local pressure washing business.So far i got a couple of pressure washers and some advertising magnets,some cleaning chemicals(gonna get more of these),i'm gonna buy a small trailer to hookup to my truck.What can anyone tell/suggest to me to just get started up with this.Thanks in advance.

If/when you get the dough .... make sure you get a huge sign on the side of your trailer with your business name, phone number and services you provide.

Go to your local pennysaver and advertise in there for 3 months that you offer mobile power washing services. Get some siding solution and power wash houses with vinyl or wood siding. Put flyers on all the neighbors doors and HAND WRITE that their neighbor across the street / next door just got they shit power washed. Word or mouth is your best referral.

You can also do a separate ad for mobile car wash/detailing services.

You can set up your trailer in any crowded parking lot and do lunchtime car washes from 11am - 3pm during the week. Put flyers on every car saying you will be there every tuesday from 11am - 3pm.

Set that shit up in the back of the mall parking lot on the weekends so they can shop while you wash/detail they shit.

Invest in a generator, a compressor and a drill/grinder/with a buffing attachment. Also some good detailing equipment and chemicals when you get a chance.

Sounds like a great money maker, I'm subscribing. Quick question though, how do you plan solving the "water" dilema? I mean some places will allow you to use their water and alll you would need is a long hose BUT how about Cyba's mobil car wash idea, how do you plan on supplying water for that project??

Easy solution. You can find an old water heater from a junk yard for cheap. Strip the shit down to the water tank. Most water heaters hold 40 - 100 gallons and are rough 3 - 4 feet tall and only 2 feet wide. Get 2 or 3 of those and you got your water problem solved the pressure washer handles the water output.

There is one guy that I've seen doing mobil detailing but I don't know how he handles the water issue.

Anyone see those big ass liquid containers in the back of pick-ups. They have a label across it that usually says "not for human consumption" or "not drinkable" or something to that affect. Where do you get those?
