Need help with shipping a package

I need help with shipping a package I recently sold a small electronic item on ebay and Ive never shipped anything before how should I go about this ???

Can I put it in an envelope ? or a box??

Do I seal it ? or do the people at the post office dothat ??

How do I do the label on the box ? Can I make my own if I have the address ?

go to the ups store with your invoice from ebay and they will have a little bubblewrap envelope u can buy- then send it USPS

I use fedex and print my labels out on my laser printer then tape them to the box using clear packing tape- its the cheapest fastest way

fedex ground is cheaper than ups and dhl - make sure you get tracking information and insure the item if it is costly
fed ex doesnt charge for insurance and UPS doesnt up to $100 not sure about dhl

If you are overnighting a package using fedex they will pick up from your crib

they will need a credit card for fedex accounts- they will charge 10 bucks a few times to make sure the card is legit but they do not bill until the item is delivered

find a mail box etc or ups store - its the easiest way - or find a post office with shipping packaging for sale
if you use the ups store alot get a UPS account - that way you pay less for shipping
if you value the service you get from the store dont do that or buy ancillary items because they make very little profit from the UPS sales and if you use your personal account they dont make shit

Ebay said something about printing a label but when I click that it goes to paypal and it asks me about a usps account or something

same thing

on the paypal page where you got your payment there's a place to print your invoice - thats good to print and fold up and include with the item you are shipping

its also good to gett signature confirmation with the delivery- that way people cant claim they never received what you sent and get their money back and paypal will take that money from you

all you need is the name and address of where u need to send the item- if you go to the ups store and tell them you need to send something and tell them what it is they will hook it up for you- you just might end up paying a lil more for packaging depending on the item

I've just left stuff with the woman who manages the ups store I use cause Ive known her for years

Funny enough they dont teach this stuff in schools.

Where I live. The post office is the best and cheapest for mailing out small to mid sized packages.. If you are shipping a big screen tv, then I dont know what to tell you.

I am sure if it can fit into a USPS envelope then you and mail it into it. But they also have a flat rate box.. which is cool for most things.. just shove it in there.

For ebay it is best to charge a flat rate for shipping most things.. like 10 bucks. or 15 bucks. Then you go to the post office and ship it for 5 bucks.

I shipped the package today I went to a place called Ship N More it cost me 10.25 and that included the box and everything . When I sold the item I put shipping and handling at around 19 or 20.

Thanks for all the info , I think Im going to keep using these guys
