Hey Fam need alittle advice about my old ride. Trying to sell my old car that stopped on me in Aug. the damn head gasket is blown and not worth fixing. so i just got off the phone wit a few junkyards and their all offering me 200-250$. any one knows where i might be able to sell it for alittle more, dont want alot but shit its worth more then 250 :lol:? Thx for any help
oh i forgot lol its a 99 ford Taurus

sell it to a junk yard. No one is going to buy it in this economy except for a junk yard. No need to laugh at it being a ford Taurus at all. It got you to point A & B long enough for you to get a new ride.

How about giving it to charity a claim a high tax deduction that will save you a lot more than $250 in taxes?

Thx Jagu thought about that but wit Xmas comin up could use the money but if i dont that sounds like the best bet.

I just paid $760 for a 91 Toyota Camry. Why sell your shit at a loss? unless it's been declared undrivable put it on the curb and see if someone will give you more for it. People who pay $1,000 or less for a car are expecting troubles. They won't think any less of you for the high mialage, tricky transmission, or non existent catalytic converter (especially if you're in a no smog state). They just want a bucket who can get them on their next road trip or help them shore up their girlfriend.

If you have a weekend or two to spare then make this your goal. If so you'll make a couple hundred off an easy transaction.
