no joke.

MVP was scheduled to be announced today by the NBA, but they are now claiming that the votes have been "lost".

as if that shit had not already been counted and tabulated...

maybe there were some hanging chads in texas.

When they release this...I hope they release some type of "explanation" as to how they hell they "lost" the votes..

when were the votes casted? Is this a way to not degrade the MVP by giving it to Dirk by doing a revote?..even those this is the season's MVP award they pretty much render is meaningless by giving it to Dirk Brokeinski

the votes are cast in APRIL. after the conclusion of the regular season.

what a farce.

i assumed dirk nowitzki was going to win (based on the nba.com post season surveys) the MVP.

let's see what turns out.

Would anyone be surprised by a headline that read -

"In the closest MVP vote in NBA History, Steve Nash edges friend and former teammate Dirk Nowitzki for record tying 3rd straight MVP".

"Jerk" must've won the popular vote but lost the electoral college votes
