How does someone who is not 80+ regularly nap for a just few minutes?

I’ve never been a napper because it takes me time to fall asleep. That would be my main struggle.

And when I sleep, I sleep— I’ve never been able to do the 20 minute thing.

“Einstein slept nearly 10 hours a day. He valued the significance of quality sleep for maintaining his well-being. His sleep routine, though, was out of the ordinary.

He regularly indulged in brief daytime naps, occasionally more than once a day. These quick naps, lasting just a few minutes, were thought by Einstein to revitalize his mental energy and creative thinking.

He felt that these short periods of rest gave him a renewed viewpoint to solve intricate scientific challenges.”

But n e way sleep is very important..sometimes I'm disappointed when I have the opportunity to sleep longer I cant... body won't let me.. but I nap all day long when breaktime comes at work...well at least a couple times a day

i can stay awake as long as im not in the bed.
But as soon as i lay down, my mind and body is triggered into sleep mode and i'm usually outta there within 10 mins of laying down.

My wife cracks me up & says how do u go to sleep so fast when u get in bed... I say shit I aint here for nothing.. one duty one mission.. go to sleep! :giggle:

About 6 hours a night. Cat napping is about 15-30 minutes. Not retired..........yet. Soon come.

Bruh I get the same hours of sleep too! It's hard for me to sleep longer but before that I was sleeping 4 1/2- 5 hours... they move our time slot at work so I get in the bed earlier now...

Im having a hard time believing this, well maybe its true, but all that dementia stuff comes from fluid build up on one side of the brain.. dr sebi us taught that. But either way cool info..i still sleep 5-6 hours and sometimes i nap if i need it. Exercise is an important part of my day as well! I work a swing shift which allows me when i come home to do some exercise before bed!

I did a double-take too.

Isn't it smart to listen to your body and take time to get a quick recharge in?

I remember back in the 90s I would have spring / summer league for some sports. I'd be wired thinking about the game that evening. Wasting energy or whatever. Pops would be like - "Man ... just go and put your feet up. Put some music on and relax / visualize the game. You've already put the hard work in at practice ... no point pacing around ... just take a nap or stretch ... relax."
