Larry Holmes was a favorite of mine as a young kid. Dude was smooth
I'm surprised Mike Tyson hasn't been mentioned yet. He didn't have a lot of great fights (the one with Evander and...)but he brought an air of excitement that's never been recreated. He wasn't the boxer Holmes was but his star power and presence overshadowed Holmes so bad that people act like the heavyweight title went from Ali to Tyson.
