I'm in reference to the scene displayed. I'm tired of seeing Black women in bed with white men all the time. And begging to get there. Meanwhile, in order for two black people to get in bed together they have to fight each other or be drunk or something.

I understand how you feel and I especially echo your sentiments about Black couples in movies & TV.
But; let's face it, the increase in popular media of this particular type of IR hookup is really only a recent thing. And I think this might be due to:
- Hollywood is currently heavily promoting a LGBTQ and IR agenda that they feel is "adequately addressing" the lack of diversity in popular media. (Notice that both Black men and Black women are in more IR relationships now on TV).
- Hollywood suits and trend followers have taken notice of the success of people like Lee Daniels & Shonda Rhimes and are following suit on a smaller scale. (IR is good for TV and streaming services but doesn't seem to work as well in big screen movies).
- The fact that there are more high profile sisters in positions as writers, directors, producers in Hollywood.
And to be honest, they aren't all about sisters "begging" to be allowed to fuck a White man in order to validate their desirability.
Not every IR hookup involving a sister in popular media is on the same despicable level as Monsters Ball or Scandal...

I hear ya but sadly it hasn't changed that much. Since Hollywood is the de facto propaganda arm of the racist, white supremacist system it will always depict Black people from THEIR eyes. And from their eyes we are less than they are at the very least and sub-human animals or worse otherwise. They show us as they think we behave fitting into their narrative, never as equal human beings. They're still following the formula from this book. If you've never read it, give it a look. It shows how little has really changed even with more black directors, writers and producers.
