McClatch Washington Bureau &
Charlotte Observer
April 5, 2008

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama leads rival Hillary Clinton among North Carolina voters in part because voters say they value trustworthiness over experience.

Democrat Barack Obama leads Hillary Clinton 35 percent to 26 percent among likely voters in North Carolina's May 6 Democratic primary. But nearly four in 10 are still undecided.

Those are among the findings of a new Observer/WCNC Poll.

Among likely primary voters, the two virtually split the support of white voters and women while Obama has a strong -- 59 percent to 7 percent -- lead among African Americans.

Obama and Clinton are essentially tied among women; Obama has a slight edge among men. Clinton leads Obama among voters over 55; Obama leads among everyone else.

This isn't surprising the press anchored Hillary to lies and deceit whether she deserves it or not. The media doesn't explain how she had to play hardball to get where she's at today. What's interesting to me is Obama can trace his family to 6 former U.S. presidents, Dick Cheney and Brad Pitt. What's up with that.

Are you kidding?

What possessed her to say she landed in Bosnia ducking bullets and shit? :smh: One will remember being "under fire." She knew damn well she hadn't had such a traumatic experience. She just made shit up. Seems to me she anchored herself -- to a bald-faced lie. That one was a gimme for the media.

Hey, they might trace you to someone famous as well. You could be related to Ben Franklin, wasn't he known to be nittie? - or was that Walter Mitty? - hell, it rhymes anyway.

Politicians lie. Obama is a politician too.

'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree' sounds like something Ben Franklin might say about Obama's lineage.

Of course they do and I am sure he has said something thats not exactly supported by the facts. But why would Hillary say some shit like she was under fire, an event which is totally unsupported by the facts ??? How did the media anchor Hillary to THAT LIE, undeservedly ???

Frankly, more of our lineage than we'd like to admit can be traced to Europe.
