Hey fam, I had posted a few times over the last few months about my trip to Brasil and now that I'm back I thought I'd report and hopefully this post helps someone going out there in the near future.
Even the sand has asses
First of all, big up to Eewwll for Brasil 303: Final chapter by request so save it., but the thread is now outdated, only refer to it for the spot on attitude of Brasilian women, Brasil's economy has risen sharply in the last few years, some of the prices mentioned in that thread above is now triple or even quadrupled.
With all that said, here is my report, I'll try to add more pics and bump up the thread every now and again.
Background:
Just like every man, I always wanted to visit Brasil, even as far back as when I was a young teenager, the women just looked too beautiful, taking up MMA further made me want to go there, I had done a seminar with Marco Ruas way back in the day when he was on top..circa 98 so I knew one day I would visit.
Cut to the chase
I joined www.brazilcupid.com because I had seen a dude in my class using it and he showed me some crazy sexy women, he told me he was getting mad messages and he was heading out to Salvador for 3 months, when I joined, I had a lot of sexy chicks hitting me up with interest and adding me as a favorite but they couldn't message me since I was a basic member, so I bought a month membership and started hitting them up.
Nearly 100% of the chics couldn't speak English...
I don't know if you guys care for the BG story but if so let me know, anyway:
Total money taken: R$3700.00
Ended up withdrawing a further :R$400.00 while there.
Rent outta this was: $2800.00 (divided by 2 ppl)
Apt breakdown: From 8th-20th Feb...R$225.00 per night
21st-26th...R$100.00 (Afer carnival prices)
I was lucky to find a girl online(canadian)that was travelling same time as me so we went halves on the rent, I paid more cause I was there another 4 nights before she came in but having someone sharing was a great help, the catch was we had to share a studio apartment.
My landlord was cool so if you guys are going hit me up I'll give you his details.
I had asked in another forum how much daily spending budget should be and someone told me, R$100.00, well I survived on about R$50.00 or less cause I do not drink.
This is BGOL...
Saw this girl when I went to see Christ the Redeemer, my brasilian chick took that for me.
These chicks are pros, they're at Post 5 on Copacabana beach, this is directly outside old Club Help where pros used to get tourists, they have closed Help but a lot of pro chicks hang out there by post 5.
These are by Post 2, not sure if she's a pro tho, I was usually by here cause it was close to my apartment, right opposite Copacabana palace.
Quick round up: A lot of chicks that spoke English by Copacabana were pros, cats were dropping R$300-400 (170 USD plus), I didn't pay.
1. I had my chick.
2. I don't think I can perform knowing I was being timed, I met 4 dudes out there and 3 of them had performance issues when they paid, the only one that didn't have a problem was a millitary dude that was used to banging pros every time his ship would dock for some days, they had to get as much banging as they could before they were on the ship again.
Favelas:
Some companies offer Favela tours, you pay by the hour and the popular consensus is you shouldn't go to one by yourself, which is true since the houses are so dense and a lot of narrow passages, you could easily get lost, I didn't need a tour company.
My chick lived in the favela and one day after the beach, she said "we go to my home" shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, I said "lets go"...I met her mom, sis, the dad was sleeping but then the mother woke him up when I was leaving and he decided to show me around the favela, he toom me to the top of a hill, I was scared to go further uphill, that shit was so steep that if u slipped, u'd be rolling down and U WILL DIE, my girl jokingly said maybe he was going to push me off the cliff for dating his daugther.

This cutie ran up to me to be in the pic
Playing street fighter in the favela.
It was cool, after this, I was rolling there dolo, if you're black you'll fit in especially if you're wearing flip flops but when I was there in sneakers and fitted they knew I was a gringo but I never felt in danger...the kids used to hang out and they were dapping me most of the time. when I was out in Copa or other places I used to hear the blue eyes/blonde people expressing concern about even doing a tour with a company, in Rio being a black gringo works in your favor.
When I was bored at night, I used to walk about by the beach strip, doing work outs at 11-2am, some youngters would come around the bars playing their funk music and a lot of gringos would be intimidated, (they weren't even there at those times) I just continued doing my shit, they would say "boxe, boxe", I say "sim" or "mma"
MMA
I mess with MMA and there was no way I was going there and not gonna train, but the issue with BJJ in Brasil is most are Gis only, I train nogi.
I wanted to train in Jose Aldo's gym (where he works out) so I went around there to enquire, while they were taking me on tour of the gym, I bumped into him outside.
He was humble, he asked me what my level was, I told him "shit" I mean I wasn't gonna go into his class on the first day and they put me against him or some pros and I get fucked up.
The gym where he trains was R$140 for 2 weeks and you could do as many classes as possible. Their timetable didn't best fit me, by some stroke of luck I found another gym...Nogi.
http://www.rft.com.br/br/
On my first day, got there rather late when full sparring was on, I was intimidated, these guys were going pretty much full on, more full on than I was used to...they hardly spoke English, the dude that told me about the gymm spoke no English but he was looking after me, told me where to change, put my bag so I took up a space thinking..."why the fuck did I come here"

The professor will call out names, "U, U, Fight"...I was sizing up everyone thinking, I wonder whom they're gonna put me up against, and then he pointed at me, pointed to one dude and said fight.
I got reckless and got triangled, I could've held on for longer but nerves and everything played into it, I tapped.
2nd round, he couldn't submit me, I got into some positions but couldn't get him, in the end time ran out, he was like "strong, strong"
I stayed on and did Muay Thai in the afternoon, I was ok but some cats still beat me up.
Anyway next day I was out in a bar and what did I see, some of the guys from the gym fighting on TV, I was like "God damn, they're all pros"
These guys lived in the gym, train in the morning, eat then to the dorm they went, then afternoon, evening training, it was 24-7, that was their home.
I have more stories and pic but have to be careful cause I don't wanna get OCK, I haven't pissed off anyone yet so maybe I'll be ok and get a pass.
