Music: Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj debate MTV VMA nominations
Earlier on Tuesday, MTV released the nominations for its annual Video Music Awards and Taylor Swift led the way with nine total nominations. Nicki Minaj only nabbed three nominations, however, and hit Twitter to express her discontent.

Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video featured tons of cameos, notably Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Cara Delevingne, Lily Aldridge, and Karlie Kloss, all of whom are models. The 25-year-old star responded to Minaj’s second tweet.

@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other.
But Minaj clarified that it wasn’t about Swift at all.

Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. Minaj later retweeted some criticisms of Swift – including a tweet that called out the singer for not standing by Minaj’s larger point about racial inequalities in the music business. Swift, meanwhile, wrote that she’d love to share the stage with Minaj were she to win at the VMAs.
