Moving to MD to finish up college. What's the best way to position myself for employment?

I am moving to Maryland in a month. I am finishing up my Cybersecurity Management & Policy degree. I am a bit anxious about how the job market will be up to and after my degree which I should have by Spring 2018. Any recommendations for areas to focus, firms to reach out to, or other pointers?

I have created a LinkedIn profile and search Indeed.com every other day.
