Men can complain about Barbie all they want. However, Barbie needs to be used as master class on what happens when you make a movie that caters to your specific audience. FWIW, Top Gun Maverick is the most recent example of this for a male catered audience.

Also the fact that two rival studios found a way to promote a rival studio's movie through social media Barbiehimer (SP?) was an incredible marketing move. I enjoyed Oppenheimer, but there's no way that was a billion dollar movie. Barbie added about 500 mil to Oppenheimer's box office.

I can't remember when I first saw this skit, either it was a Richard Pryor special or an SNL special. In any case, as much as the Exorcist sacred the hell out of me (no pun intended),that skit had me laughing my ass off. I never forgot it.
