The wardrobe department for Fast & Furious 9 better get ready to let out some sleeves, because some gargantuan triceps just joined the franchise. Deadline confirmed today that John Cena will board the ninth Fast installment, a move which was basically announced by Vin Diesel in an Instagram post back in April. Cena’s role is being kept a secret for now, but Deadline also reports that The Rock is not slated to come back for 9, which means they need another house-sized professional wrestler to stare down his nose at Diesel, throw out comedic one-liners, and do things like flex so hard he rips through plaster casts. Cena almost assuredly be driving cars in this movie, but given the size of the man, it would almost be cooler if he just picked them up and swung them at people like a baseball bat. No candy asses allowed.

John Cena has become a pretty good actor

and what Fast has become he fits

It's become like a who's who of action films

It's time to end the Fast & Furious series. The shit has gone on way too long. It seems like they're just trying to keep it going just for the sake of keeping it going.

Vin Diesel has one of the highest grossing franchises out..... And you want him to just quit printing money?!!

Nah fam... They'll go outter space or have dinosaurs before by they stop this gravy train

I don't see how ya'll cats shit on a multi billion dollar franchise that is primarily made up of P.O.C.

And not just the actors starring in the movies, but directing and producing as well.

it successfully moved from a niche (racing/car culture) thing to summer action blockbusters,

and at least since part 4, each one has made MORE money than the last.

Them shits ain't no worse than anything D.C puts out, so they been getting my support since part 5 over the top or not- and I'll ride with them until they fuck it up by bringing in a bunch of crackas.

Funny how years ago John called out the rock for going HOLLYWOOD and not being in the WWE full time ( that was real beef not a work) well looky who’s Hollywood now

Cena is in a good place. No longer needs Vince and the WWE. Vince got to pay like he owe whenever Rock, Cena, and even Batista make an appearance.

THE most diverse group of stars you will likely ever see in a franchise. Compelling characters. It's the storyline stretched over so many movies that's turned people off.

I dig how they link everything up and always have a callback character from previous movies in a cameo.

It's entertainment. I find it entertaining. Bunch of old fogies in here.
