Mother Nature is given DC that work

That's the District Dogs not to far from my place, for whatever reason that area right in front of them has been flooding the last couple of years. Never really happened before that, I think it's the construction they've been doing & those new apt/condo buildings have screwed something up in the drainage.

That could be but remember these rainstorms has been crazy lately so unless you have a A+ drainage system this is the issue is you are going to get especially with climate change. Also keep in mind it’s flooding in some parts of the desert.

Yeah true, but even with these bad storms over the last couple of years when I first moved over there it was never anywhere near this bad. I've been living over there 11 yrs.

Ray Charles could have seen this coming years ago, they've built up DC way too fast without upgrading the water/sewer system. I worked at DC Water for a few years in accounting/finance, worked on some of the budget stuff for the proposed upgrades some of which are already going on. Actually they've had something going a block off Rhode Island for a couple of years now right where the gas station is right before the McDonalds.

Way too fast. I’m not from DC, but I’m the 20 years I’ve lived here this city turned a damn near 360.

I've been in the DC area for pretty much my whole life. Whoever the city planners are or have been they need to have their asses beat along with the politicians who sold out to the developers/management companies.
