DC, and it aint even close. DC was advertised as a possible best ever PF in terms of promise and potential.

This is a close one. Hmmm both should've been tops in their class but big money and work ethic killed it for both of them.

I would choose Glenn Robinson. He wanted to be the highest paid player. He didn't want to be the best player

Big Dog for myself. Never seen a college player more dominant. Never. That's another reason why I don't believe Jimmer will shine at the pro level. Jimmer's not Big Dog at all, but he dominated the rock with a green light.

He shoulda been. Has Melo ever been out of the first round?

yea he has.

he scored 40+ in his first year with the snicks AFTER amare went down.

u know melo who has the college championship something baby larry johnson doesn't have nor will ever touch.

and we already seen what wade does in finals.

melo needs 1 chance.

and he will with the snicks.

Glenn Robinson could have been great and he was good, even very good at times but Coleman could have been a legend but he was too undiscipline to live up to his potential.

He said have MELO (ever been out of the first round) meaning have the nigga ever been to the second round.

Petrovic was nice. Hate pimp died.

man that team was loaded that year

we wouldve done some damage in the playoffs until kenny broke his fucking wrist and then our bigs went down too

first we lost first place

then lost in the 1st round to a weaker team

then petro died

i was a huge nets fan back then man

smh,

DC was a dominant PF when in NJ. After he left is when he went downhill and mainly because he didn't play with a guard that knew how to utilize a good big man.
In NJ he had Mookie Blaylock who was setting him up lovely, then Anderson which was really the beginning of the end for Coleman.
Add to that he wasn't some foot shuffling, stay in his lane coon that parroted everything that the NBA masters told him to and you know he wasn't long for stardom.

To this day, I still can't believe we traded DC for fucking SHAWN BRADLEY  Clearly a move meant to punish a cat who wouldn't stay in his lane
oh and sorry and god bless the dead and all that, but fuck a Drazen Petro, he stopped that team from getting further in the playoffs that it did. If you
are a Dirkster, then you would've probably thought Petro was special. But if you know ball, you know Dallas wouldn't have won if not for the others....
same thing with Petro. Nets won despite him not because of him

I agree he did change. But it might have had a little to do with having Butch Beard as a coach instead of Chuck Daly too. Daly knew how
to keep his stars happy. When Beard took over, he was on some power shit and they ended up clashing

Glenn Robinson was good, even very good at times but Coleman could have been a legend but he was too undisciplined to live up to his potential.
DC was a cool cat but he lacked that fire that makes men great, period. He only stepped up when challenged eg a game here and there.
