Monument to Lynched Slaves by Equal Justice Initiative 2018

The reason, why this country don't want to talk about slavery is because of the same old comments from white people. They either say "Slavery happen along time ago","Why you want to bring that up","Black people aren't slaves now", my personal favorite "My family never owned slaves" or any variant of those quotes.

Then you have a bunch of white people not wanting get rid of the Confederate flag and monuments talking about it's their heritage yet that side was the losing side of the Civil War.Not only it's the losing side, but the guy who started the Confederacy made it loud and clear that it was to maintain white supremacy.

Every time, there is a discussion about race in this country white people get all in their feelings and want to bring up "Chicago","What about black on black crime","affirmative action, even though white women benefit from it more than any group" and a list of other bullshit that has nothing to do with the discussion. And,then they always blame us for our situation, when we're the ones that's the victim.

White people will never, I mean never accept responsibility for the shit we've been through.

The sad thing is probably only a third or fourth of all the lynchings are actually documented. A lot of cruel shit happened in small, rural towns.
