I totally understand what you are saying and theoretically yes, this would be a good thing. But to speak bluntly, not all men were created equal. And if any women 4, 5, and beyond take the initiative to step their game up, they are no longer gonna be looking at the male 2, 3, 4, 5's they previously would tolerate.
Meaning dude's who would normally be getting those 4's and 5's, would now be dipping in the bottom of the barrel. Now I know your response would be, this would force men to step their game up as well, right? Makes sense, but if stepping their game up entails degree, career, and $. That shit doesnt happen overnight, and it also costs $, AND dont forget we're in the middle of a recession where jobs/careers and $ arent readily available (especially to the black population).
So in regards to my previous point, those men who arent able to step their game up to this new criteria (which would be the majority), will be stuck at the bottom. Which would result in less 4, 5, 6's having children, and instead lead to 1, 2, and 3's having the majority of our kids.
Now am I saying your point is wrong, no. I'm just saying the criteria for finding a mate is the main issue. Women need to focus on finding a good man, and understand what that actually is (hint, money doesn't necessarily quality). Ok now I'm done
