After paying off bills, I have a little over 4 thousand dollars left over from my tax refund. I have a 401k with my company. Should I put it toward my house note? What can I do to make this into seed money and have it grow? Nothing illegal or too risky.

Invest in things you can sell to people on bgol. The markup will prolly be at least 50% and your customers will have the advantage of dealing with someone they know. Ultimate win-win situation.
