In the charges brought against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on Friday, a new finding shows the county medical examiner concluded the death of George Floyd was not a result of asphyxia or strangulation.

An autopsy of Floyd was conducted Tuesday following his death on Monday after Chauvin restrained him for nearly nine minutes by pressing his knee on Floyd's neck.

The full report by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office is pending but so far has found "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation."

Floyd's underlying health conditions included coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease. The report says the underlying health conditions, combined with Chauvin's restraint and any possible intoxicants in Floyd's system, likely contributed to his death.

Strange how these Black folks keep dying of natural causes while a cac cop is choking them! What are the odds?!

I hope the family can afford an independent autopsy

Hell i want the famous one from HBO

Just like the brother that committed "suicide" while his hands were cuffed behind his back in the back seat of a police car.
#RIP Chavis Carter

only man in history to be able to shoot himself in the right side of his head (he was left-handed) while being handcuffed behind his back.

Oh and conjure a pistol out of thin air as the police report said he was searched TWICE before being cuffed and “no weapons were found on his person.”

:smh:

Not a big deal but did give some wiggle room for the defense

Medical examiners and the fuckin kkkops work HAND IN FUCKIN HAND..

I mean fuckin REALLY bruh...

Heart disease and high blood pressure...that's damm near every nigga in Amerikkka!!
Maybe people are stressed out because someone can get suffocated with a knee and then someone will say it wasn’t the knee that killed him. It was the hypertension.

I honestly don’t know why people don’t wrap themselves in the second amendment.

Welp, that's the reasonable doubt they needed.
Not really. Manslaughter in the 2nd degree and 3rd degree murder does not need intent or actual cause of death. The key to those charges are “culpable negligence” in which there is plenty of evidence

Are you a lawyer?
Naw not a lawyer but with a good Autopsy you had a good air tight case which was ideal.

But either way if you were the cop you would have a huge uphill battle to beat these charges because the burden of proof is not nearly as strict as first degree.

culpable negligence Is essentially reckless behavior resulting in the death of a person.

for those not familiar:

The death of Chavis Carter, a 21-year-old African-American man who was found dead from a gunshot while handcuffed in the back of a police patrol car on July 29, 2012, was ruled a suicide by the Arkansas State Crime Lab.[1][2]

Carter was in the passenger seat of a pickup truck which was stopped by the Jonesboro Police Department of Jonesboro, Arkansas.[3]It was reported that an officer found small amounts of cannabis on his person after a body search and ran his information through the police computer network.[3] The officers discovered that he had an outstanding warrant, so they placed him under arrest, searching him again and handcuffing his hands behind his back before placing him in the patrol vehicle.[3]

Minutes later, the officers discovered that Chavis Carter was shot in the head. The officers found a semi-automatic, .380-caliberCobra pistol near the body.[1] The Jonesboro Police Department believe that he had hidden the gun on his person that the officers did not detect through the two searches and used it on himself.[4] Carter's mother disagreed, claiming that Carter had no history of suicidal thoughtsor actions, and addressed the fact that he had made arrangements with his girlfriend to meet him at the prison the next day, and that the police killed him.[1] In addition, she states that he was left-handed[1] and was handcuffed behind his back, yet the bullet entered through his right temple. The two officers at the scene were placed on administrative leave and an investigation was started.[5]

A video was released by the police in which a police officer of similar height and build to Carter shows how Carter could have shot himself while handcuffed in a police car.[1] A witness to the event said the police were outside the vehicle when the shot was fired.[1]

The FBI were requested by the Jonesboro Police Department to investigate the death.[6]

The local NAACP sponsored a vigil.[7] There have been several protests in Jonesboro due to many not believing the police explanation of Carter's death.[1]

On August 20, 2012, the Arkansas crime lab ruled the death as a suicide.[1]

If you look closely at the video, the CACs knee is on HIS CAROTID ARTERY. That's what would mimic coronary artery disease by restricting the blood flow to his brain.

This coroner is full of shit and an independent autopsy should be conducted.

Even Jon Bone Jones has spotted it and called it a "blood choke" that any basic level jujitsu fighter knows.

So Minnesota will burn again, as soon as these killer as cops get off, in a few months.
Not is the slightest. He got some wiggle room but his actions are what caused the death of GF is enough for the manslaughter charge
Yup ket it all burn but not in your hood.go yo there neighborhoods an do it there.but the max for 2or 3rd mansl.is only 10yrs.if charged he will get 2 years in cop jail living nice.if he get off they will move him out of the state.
