The Vikes curerently have 3-QB's under contract--Tavaris Jackson, John David Booty, and Sage Rosenfels. Of the three, TJack's position is somewhat tenuous. He's been a 'sometimes' starter, and has never been openly embraced or crowned by his head coach Brad Childress, as the 'main man'. This year finds Childress sitting in the 'hot seat',and nothing short of the NFC-North Championship will save him. With that in mind, we can anticipate agressive 'wooing' to get Favre in a Viking uniform. Plus, Favre would love to stick-it to Green Bay.
To their credit Green Bay is staying as far away from this 'circus-in-the-making', as they can. G.B. head coach, Mike McCarthy says, "He's(Favre) free to do whatever he wants"...and Rodgers was GLAD to hear those words. However,the Pack still regrets that the Vikes took Percy Harvin (WR--Fla) with their first draft pick. He is the playmaker the Pack lusted after,most.
