Michigan Gov reinstates SNAP benefits amid NOV 1st. Putting a end to the 40 ball.

Yeah, Ohio Governor (Republican) made a resolution for an emergency $15 milly......

I think most Governors know letting SNAP linger would haw devastating effects on the economy and that clearly Drumpf has not intentions of getting the government back open any time/ day soon

But this the part that makes no sense someone lieing. In the video I posted they said 70 million for Michigan residents. And it should last only about 2 weeks.

Y’all got 15 million. And that’s supposed to last how long?

And Ohio and Illinois both have more residents then Michigan.

1:05-3:28mark of the video I posted.

50 million for snap
20 million for food pantries

So 70 million for a state that has 10.2 million is supposed to last 2 weeks.

So how much is 15 million for Ohio supposed to last?

Bruh, I don't expect it to last long at all

But correction, Ohio will get $25 million.

$7 million for food pantries and $18 million for the 63,000 of Ohioan at or below 50% of the poverty level...... the lowest of the low

18,000,000
÷ 63,000
------------------
$2,857

But that's a drop in the bucket because allegedly 1.4 million ohioans reguarly receive $264 Mllion in SNAP each month. (About $190 per person)

63,000 people is about 4.5% of the 1.4 million

Our $25 million is looking especially chump compared to Michigan's $70 Million.

However there is allegedly a state "rainy day" fund ($3Billion) that is exempt from being used to help supplement more benefits to residents.
