Just watching CNN and they are quoting Michale Jackson's attorney saying that Jacko has had a trouble with abusing prescription drugs and this might have resulted in his untimely death

He was addicted to pain killers for many years after his hair caught on fire....not sure what other meds he was taking though.

CNN is interviewing a man the network identified as Brian Oxman, a personal friend of Michael Jackson's and Jackson family attorney, who said he was at the hospital where Jackson was pronounced dead. Oxman said there were concerns that Jackson was taking prescription drugs and that he was recently surrounded by people who "enabled" him perhaps to over medicate himself.

We, of course, have no way of confirming this right now. Oxman went further to cite the case of Anna Nicole Smith who died of a prescription drug overdose and indicates Jackson's situation was the worse than hers. Again, can't confirm but this is now out there from someone who was, at least at one point, a Jackson insider.

Plastic surgery is painful, so I'd imagine getting plastic surgeries on top of other plastic surgeries like that may cause chronic pain due to scarring and whatnot. I would guess Mike probably did have some heavy duty pain killers in his medicine cabinet on the regular. All that shit he did to himself probably had him in constant pain. Shit is sad, you knew back when Mike first started that shit it was gonna take a toll. I always wondered why some docs didn't loose licenses over that shit (unless dude was heading down to S. America or some shit to get it done).

Why did get a plastic surgery ?

man, this is bad... cause anna nicole smith was on a gang of drugs. they even found HGH in her system. :smh:

if MJ was on MORE drugs than her, this is bad... very bad.

i wonder who these so-called, "enablers" are?

His doctors. MJ was basically killed by some greedy fuckin' doctors that would do whatever procedures he asked and prescribe him any drugs he wanted as long as he paid. I would bet that shit is going to come out now.

His attorney is on MSNBC saying that he feared that this kind of thing would happen - meaning that Jacko would wake up dead as a result of drug abuse. Actually he said he warned the family about Jacko's drug abuse.

The guy brought up an interesting fact about Jackson being sued by the owners of a Beverly Hills pharmacy who alleged that he owed them 100,000 dollars in unpaid bills

I was about to say "DAMN", but then thought about how much some of these prescriptions cost if you pay MSRP for them and decided that could be a couple of bottles of pills depending on what they were.

A hundred thousand dollars on drugs is a lot of money. What kind of drugs will you be buying ? Not even Aids drugs are that expensive:smh::smh:

if it was prescriptions meds, this will be another reason why Weed should be legalized..
never heard of anyone one overdosing and dying from smoking weed..

RIP Michael Jackson

Some of the more "exotic" shit can cost hundreds of dollars PER PILL without prescription coverage and I'm not entirely sure a cat like Mike would be paying a monthly deductible. At those prices, you could be in for $100K in a VERY short time. My mom's took a cancer drug that cost $500 PER PILL, but was covered by her RX plan, a government grant and a private grant to pay in full. if it's true Mike had this rare respiratory condition, no telling what experimental drugs he had access to or was prescribed.

Just saying, the $100K bill may have been for legit treatment and not an Oxy bill.

No kidding. It was bound to catch up to dude.

The dozens of "Yes" men around him didn't help.:smh:

A real sad day and already these assholes are popping up. I guarantee you that this is the first of a long list of people that will be coming out of the woodwork. My first thought was how the hell does a 50 year old man just die like MJ did. He was rumored to sleep in oxygen chambers and always wore mask when out in public. Whatever, he's dead and nothing is going to change that now. I hope they just let the man rest in peace.

Was talking to my boy about that not too long ago. A "Yes man" is not only NOT a friend, but in most cases worse than a fuckin' enemy. A real enemy may not give a fuck if you kill yourself, but a "yes man" will hand you the loaded gun and tell you it's a good idea.

Your mom suffered from cancer what about Jacko ?

I think he became addicted to pain killers after the major scalp surgery from burns suffered during filming a Pepsi commercial.

It was reported he had some rare respiratory condition back in December and had all sorts of chronic pain issues. Trust, all the good/ affective meds are listed as "experimental" and priced out of the range of all but the most wealthy (I learned that when my Moms was sick). Doctors would be like "They have this trial medication that has done wonders, but it will cost X$$$ and it is not covered by your insurance. You can get on a waiting list, or you can pay out of pocket."

I heard that shit CONSTANTLY. There are some wonder drugs out there if you have the money to get access to them and if Mike was as sick as they say and really wanted to live forever as has been reported for years, he definitely had the money.

"yes man " will dig your own grave

The attorney was pointing out that it was the ENABLERS that were fucking things up ... so I'm thinking it was close "friends" who were additionally supplying him the medication, on top of stuff he was already prescribed/taking.

Fucked up thing is I think those enablers were M.D.'s in this case. I doubt anyone was going out getting him illegal scripts, dude was getting his shit directly from his doctors.
