Do you feel the same about a war vet who writes a book about the horrors of war? Oliver Stone has a purple heart, I'm sure he's not dancing a jig thinking about being wounded in combat but he got rich telling stories about how war is hell.
To me the difference is he is not trying to pretend that part of life didn't exist. Plus, he is an excellent film maker. With her, she gets mad when you talk about her past, yet other than porn what is she known for ?

I think what sets her apart from them is that firstly, neither one of them got famous as a soldier. It's not like they were Audy Murphy....they each gained fame from their post-war work. Yet, believe it or not Hardtalk is one of the most serious news interview programs on that channel. That's why I was surprised to see her being interviewed on there.
I'm pretty sure she knows that if somebody is offering her money to talk; the conversation is going to move towards her and fucking on camera, and I'm pretty sure people aren't paying her for interviews and saying up front that they won't touch on that shit. This isn't Meryl Streep with a deep catalog of interesting career topics to talk about.
