Unless....Hatton goes to 147 (he hates fighting at 47 ie Collazo and PBF fights) to fight Shane.

Loses to Shane, Shane fights Floyd.

I'm just nervous that Mayweather Sr. is gonna have Hatton finely tuned for this fight.

I agree with 13th round, after the Hatton vs. Pac fight, regardless of who wins, you will see Mayweather fighting one of them.

Even though he knocked out Hatton they can sell the fight off of him beating Pac and they'll say how he's vastly improved under the tutelage of Mayweather Sr. With the following Hatton has they will have no problem selling that fight if he beats Pac.



Hatton in no way is going to 147, he knows he's food at 147. If he cant get Floyd after this, I could see him retiring as hes hinted.

Yes you're right, team Mayweather is listening to offers.

What Mayweather is doing is nothing new in boxing. Sugar Ray did the same shit.

But the most important one was when he retired for a few years and the sports world salivated for a Hagler fight. He sat back and let the interest and the $$$ build. People were talking. He didn't rush.

He cashed in on a crazy purse in return. Floyd knows exactly what he's doing.

I believe it was sincere for that fight, I think at that moment he didnt want to fight. But now, after a year plus, I'll bet he's getting that itch.

As far as I could see, nobody wanted to see the second Oscar fight but that shit still would have did numbers.

I think its the same scenario with Hatton. Even if they couldnt sell it here they could sell it in the UK and do huge numbers over there if they were inclined to do it.

Floyd is coming back in 09 IMO, no matter what, and these two, and Shane, are the only chances he has at a huge fight. So if he doesnt fight Shane (which I've been feigning to see) he will either fight Pac or Hatton.
