LAS VEGAS -- Floyd Mayweather Jr., the welterweight champ and pound-for-pound king until retiring last June, will officially end his retirement on Saturday at an afternoon news conference to announce a fight with lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez, multiple sources told ESPN.com.

Guys are looking for the best money fight available. Marquez, knowing he won't get a Pacquiao rematch any time soon, made sure to put his name on the Mayweather list after his win this winter. Mayweather, knowing HBO is out of the glorified exhibition business, needed a credible opponent and one that , if he won, would set up a fight with Pacquiao by year's end. Both of them get what they want.

Mayweather already worked his way through multiple weight classes and won titles, now it's about making BIG money.

How come nobody was asking him about weight classes when he fought two guys bigger than him (De La Hoya, Baldomir)?
