It's never going to happen, Manny/Floyd that is. If Floyd demands random blood testing, as he has for his last two fights and he's said will be in all his fights from now on, Manny will not agree to it. He's going to want his 14 day window and Floyd won't have it.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm starting to have doubts.

He doesn't really like Brian Kenny, does he? They didn't get into it like the other time but there were a couple tense moments.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz won. In fact, i might bet on him winning by stoppage. Mayweather is 34, was inactive, got rocked to his boots against Mosley, and will be fighting a young, fast, big southpaw that seems to really believe he will win. Ortiz wins in an upset.

Marquez fight was the biggest joke in recent years in boxing. It is difficult to give PBF props for fighting dude two weight classes higher than he ever fought while coming in over the limit.

People make way more of a big deal about Shane hurting PBF. Dudes get rocked all the time. Some of you at as though PBF got dropped twice in the round and stormed back from that bloody eye and all. He got hit with a flush punch that didn't knock him down or even get close to it.

Ortiz has a chance. One because he is a decent southpaw. two because PBF has been out the ring for a long time. But those chances are still slim. Unless he catches him or a head butt frustrates him like it did when Shane fought Vernon. I don't see Ortiz being the winner at the end of the fight.

While I think PBF will win the fight, and maybe convincingly, I don't see the blow out a lot of people are calling it. Floyd is or will be 34, and sooner or later he is going to either slow down or get caught. His time off will eventually hurt him, because his style is predicated on timing, and no matter how naturally gifted a fighter is, layoffs will hurt him. B-Hop is an rarity, but he is unique in that, at his age time off helps him more than hurts him. I think that the multiple layoffs will hurt Floyd with his eventual fight with Manny as well. He will probably beat Ortiz, but there will be more questions raised after the fight than before...

He has a decent KO rate but not because he is dropping bombs... he wont hit Floyd enough to hurt him to the point where it could change the fight... plus...Floyd will definitey have the speed advantage... Ortiz needs to land something very ridiculously solid early and then follow it up to the point that Floyd never gets his legs back in order for him to win this fight. The Peterson draw was a gift to Ortiz... cause Peterson schooled him. On the other hand, some think Mayweather's technique and defensive wizardry is on such a high level that even if he slows down or falls off physically, he will still be able to survive. I think that for all the technique that he has, he largely depends on his physical gifts and reflexes to put everything together. In my view, that doesn't make him less technical, just more talented. I predict Mayweather starts getting knocked out if he stays around too long and by too long I mean at least once in his next 4 fights.

Furthermore, I don't think Ortiz would even need "put you to sleep power". Even Corley was able to hurt Mayweather. Anyway, I don't see Mayweather getting put to sleep anyway. I think Mayweather may taste the canvas a few times or get the fight called off on him but I don't see him getting put to sleep like RJ.

As much as he landed on Berto, goofy ass... nothing. I don't think it is impossible for him to get the upset with a shocking KO, but that is his only way to win. He won't outbox Floyd or break him down so, he has to go all in on that lottery winner against a motherfucker whose main skill is not getting hit with clean shots... That isn't good betting odds.

I don't know if he gets knocked out because there isn't really a lot out there to knock him out, except maybe Manny! I think more than likely, will will start seeing his fights becoming more and more competitive, with him getting hit more and having to overcome more. That being said, I believe fights like that will enhance his legacy, and I still see him winning the majority of those fights. He showed he can be resilient when Mosley caught him. I also don't see 4 more fights in him, primarily because of what he's seen happen to RJJ. I think it's this fight, maybe one more but I doubt it, and then a fight with Manny which will be a career defining war for both of them.

That is the thing though... considering his major disadvantages, he is going to need the put you to sleep type of power to win by KO....and it is easier to wear opponents down that you can hit them..but you kno after the first few rounds, he is rarely going to land solid power punches on Floyd....and he is neither technically more sound or quick enough to do anything differently than any other opponent. He was dropping opponents that were sitting in front of him and taking several and consecutive shots to the head... not gonna happen with Floyd.... Vic has 3-4 rounds to hurt Floyd badly or it is going to turn into another UD for floyd.

I would love to see a different fight...but Victor hasnt shown me that he will be able to be effective against a superior boxer like Floyd
