I already liked John Mayer as an artist, seems like an easygoing dude as a person, type to stick around and sign autographs and take pictures and shit.

Mayer was being a asshole cuz he knew he could get a way with it. its just some empty thugery to me. wouldnt have spoken to the guy like that if he was just starting out in his career.
 
i think that Kanye clip was on a "Late Registration" MTV documentary. when he says "juxtapose", Kanye said at the end of the interview that he still didn't know what that meant. lol
 
You never know what stories may lie behind that incident...a lotta shit goes on behind the scenes in the entertainment industry...they could've had some previous beefs or issues with each other...but when the camera comes on they still gotta interact with each other cuz it's their job, so Mayer probably took the opportunity to fuck with Seacrest for whatever reason...Seacrest was probably trying to get at Jessica, who knows ;) ;) ;)

p.s. - shit was still pretty funny though :lol:

He did purposely mock that goofball Seacrest. Earlier on Seacreast was grabbing at Mayer and trying to drag him over to do an interview while Mayer was otherwise occupied. Seacrest's desperation was pathetic.

Later when Mayer came over he just fucked with Seacrest all through the interview because he knew the only thing Ryan (and E!) wanted to know was about Simpson. Mayer told him to "be his own man" and not ask the question that his producers were in his ear begging him to. Seacrest punked out and asked a cheesy question anyway. Mayer laughed and then answered in Japanese. Made Seacrest look like a chump.

Funniest thing on that pre-show was seeing Natalie Cole towering over the supposedly 5'8" Seacrest.
