Maple Syrup And Pecan Popcorn

INGREDIENTS:

Oil
75 g popcorn kernels
90 g pecans, roasted and chopped
85 g butter
250 ml maple syrup
Pinch of salt

STEP 1: POP THE POPCORN
Pour the oil in a large pan and add the popcorn kernels. Cover the pan with a lid and place on a medium heat. Shake to coat in the oil. Keep on the heat until the kernels have popped.

STEP 2: ADD PECANS
Transfer your popcorn to a large bowl and mix in the roasted and chopped pecans.

STEP 3: ADD SWEETNESS
Melt the butter over a medium heat. Then add the maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Heat to 150°C (swirl, don't stir). Then coat the popcorn and pecans.

STEP 4: LEAVE
Spread the popcorn out on a lined baking tray and leave to set. Once set, break up the popcorn and serve!
