Even if it were real, it's actually not that bad of a scenario. He gets one last check from a job he's clearly not satisfied with and since he was terminated he's eligible for unemployment benefits while he continues his job search. Win/Win if you ask me.

Killed it. I forgot about some of these. Never bothered to even look at the guy long enough to remember him. He has the uniform shirts too in most of the vids.
I had an idea like this years ago but I don’t like being on camera. I had a white friend and he said he would come up with the skits and we would approach college theatre folks for the interactions. He was on some Larry David shit for real but the scripts had to be like 3 pages long - one page per minute and the ad lib would work, especially in public.
I always thought that guerilla filmmaking was the way BUT who exactly are we marketing to? We actually didn’t know. I thought that he wanted the attention butt not really he said. It was like stripping for free he said. No body would be paying, what about sponsors, was it going to be webisodes - there was just too many questions. And by never answering them the whole idea fell by the wayside. He went on to do podcasts and I went back to working OT.
This is wrong tho. There are people. A lot of them that believe this shit completely. Dangerous as hell if the wrong people start to copycat.

I may just be having an old man "get off my lawn" moment, but I can't find any enjoyment in these videos. We got real people out here getting hemmed up trying to legitimately patronize businesses and restaurants and then you got these ninjas trying to catch internet fame for some simulated drama.
I respect the hustle but find another way. It's clear in some of those videos that the real employees weren't in on the joke and could have done something that might have affected their employment status. Folks in those hourly gigs ain't looking to internet famous. Let them people live.
Side Note: Interesting psychological affect that's demonstrated by those videos where people (even real employees) are conditioned to think anyone in something approximating the store uniform is treated as a legitimate employee at least at first glance. If I'm Corporate Store security and seeing these videos, I'm re-thinking my uniform policy a bit.
