I tend to go to the flicks by myself because I don't want to wait around. If it is empty then so be it.
I've done it twice when I wanted to see something and didn't feel like waiting
Hell yeah. I don't drag people to shit I know they don't want to see. If any of my kids don't want to come, I'll go by myself.
If its something I want to see and my wife is too lame, or my son is too young, I will go alone.

My wife hates horror. I often go to those alone. Plus I hate having anyone in the movies so I go at off hours. Y'all have someone with you at home watching TV too???
Never have, I try to find someone to go with me if I can't I just wait to download it. After a sexual scare, I realized if I just would have man up and went alone and not took this chick I probably would not have been in a situation that fucked me up and still kind of fucks with me today. Also me being weak and dumb at the time played a big part too. So in the future if I really want to see something I will go alone.

Well when I go I usually don't go by myself....I go with my blunt and henrock...They always keep my company when the wifey dosnt want to go with me...

i do it all the time, on a saturday or sunday morning or afternoon. Its not big deal. Going on a friday or saturday night, now that might look a little weird (gives the vibe that you dont have have a girl or any friends). But going during the morning or day time, just means you want some time to yourself to relax. plus its cheap.

These days it's rare that a movie hits the theater that I can't wait for to hit online. But in the past, I've done it with no problem. But like someone said, not during prime time. That looks crazy.

I did it a week ago when I went to see Don't Breathe at a matinee when I got off work early. The very next day my girl and I went again. I am so far beyond what other muthafuccas think of me, Im not lookin at dudes, I'm lookin past them.

Im like Maybe bec my stank ass started loving myself and Im good with "me" I love going to the movies by myself especially when I go early and no ones there but me. The perception, real or not, is that you look less appealing to women. Most of guys going alone got a woman.
Man, I'm trying to catch a movie. I couldn't give a fuck what some random broad thinks, besides women take into account the silliest and stupidest shit when they try to size up a man. Seeing a movie alone is case in point.
thats why the time of day is important. Going on a saturday or sunday afternoon almost guarantees you a non-crowded theater. Then you don't have to be all up on nobody.
when I used to go to the movies a lot, it was usually by myself. did it once this past summer and had an awful time... not so much because I was alone, but because the place was nearly empty and since it was July, they had the temperature at like 19 degrees and there was no body heat to heat it up. Froze my ass off!!!
all the time when i was younger cause there were a shitload of movies i wanted to see jus to see, now a days most movies suck, i prefer to go to movies i think might be trash with a chick cause thats usually when she starts blowing, that was the case for rush hour 3 and superman returns, bitches aint come up for air till the movie was over

I go to the movies alone all the time. The wife doesn't want to see the same types of movies as me so I go by myself. I usually go to late night showings on weekdays. Smoke on the way and enjoy the film in an almost empty theater. Why would anyone give a shit about what other people think about it?
