I had my DVR's working overtime, recording both shows and the shit my gf watches! Then I went back and saw both shows. TNA needs to step it up as far as the production quality as well as their promo spots, but the story arcs look like they're going to be insane and the wrestling is good. Especially the knockout wrestling! Those girls wrestle waay better than most WWE Divas!
The Bret Hart shit was kind of lame. They could've ended it better.

I hope Hamada's not hurt too bad. She looked like she hurt her right leg early in the match and limped noticeably the entire way.
The Nasty Boys should only get one match with the Dudleys, lose and never come back.
That Asylum match sucked ass and Jeff Hardy saved the whole segment. Most of the guys in that match were making their Monday night debut and got nothing out of it. I hope they don't have any long term plans for Jeff since he might go to jail.
Why tell us they were going to have a barbed wire match and a full metal mayhem match if you're not going to do it?
Scott Hall and Sean Waltman look like shit and shouldn't be there long.
Desmond Wolfe and The Pope were good. WWE passed on both of these guys, both times it was a mistake.
AJ and Kurt were as great as ever and put on a ppv-quality match.
Angelina Love is supposed to come back at the taping tonight and they might be doing away with the 6-side ring, which I think is a mistake. That's become their signature and it makes them different from WWE.

The Asylum match ending was botched because Homicide's foot was stuck in the top of the cage.
I think he was supposed to reach the top and then Jeff Hardy comes out they fight on the top and Homicide falls.

I was glad to see TNA on Monday and compete with WWE for once. It was obvious WWE would have a higher rating, but TNA iMPACT had the better show. I hope they can get iMPACT to be on Monday for real, instead of "one night only" and then back to Thursdays. And I hope that the "black scorpion" guy turns out to be.......

I never understand why the WWE let the Pope go. He's young, can talk, and is solid in the ring. As for Wolfe he apparently didn't clear medically after he left ROH which is why he's not in the E. He has had injury issues in the past.

The word is they may have set a record Monday night so a possible move to Monday nights is looking good.
I've seen the Nasty Boys work a local show last summer and they looked decent so the Dudleys can probably carry them to a good enough match on ppv, as long as they get to brawl all around the arena. Dudleys are good dudes and might let them win to get the win back on the next show. The Nastys have a rep for stiffing guys so this could be unexpectedly fun because Ray and Devon can stiff too.
I doubt they'll do that with Dixie. She'll probably fade to the back and they'll let Hulk play "Mr. Hogan".

I don't get HDNet so I miss ROH but when I do see them, they usually have good stuff and can only improve with Jim Cornette on board.

Yeah, he hates dumb shit, bad acting, and bad wrestling shows. I enjoyed several parts of the show but I was at the Asylum match and how they treated many of their inhouse talent, from Beer Money to Chris Daniels. Vince Russo and Hulk Hogan should be fired for letting in Orlando Jordan. TNA needs wrestling bookers not writers. I hope they make some immediate corrections in the next couple tapings.
