Man breaks into, robs tobacco shop in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Metal and glass weren't enough to stop a man from busting his way into a store in Brooklyn last month, and the NYPD is hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest.

Police say the suspect smashed his way into a tobacco shop on Jamaica Avenue in Cypress Hills just before 5 a.m. on June 25.

Clerks say the suspect had a gun and got away with an unknown amount of cash.
