After being traded from the Chicago Bulls this past offseason, PG Derrick Rose was looking to get back into his MVP form before injuries started to derail his career.

Fast forward to April and the Knicks are eliminated from playoff contention and Rose just had surgery again with his latest injury.

After his fourth knee surgery in the last five years, Rose will be seeking a $150 million max deal this summer, according to a report from ESPN’s Ian Begley.

“And then there is the potential price tag. Some close to Rose have told friends he will seek a max contract this summer. For Rose, that pact would be for five years and nearly $150 million.

The Knicks would need to use nearly all of their cap space to ink Rose to a max contract.”

Don’t expect many teams to bust down his door trying to sign an often injured PG who may spend more time in a wheelchair than the court.
