Me and wifey got this Mac pro 17in for the low. We had to buy a charger and a wireless mouse for it. Her bro owed her money from bailing his dumb ass out of jail. Which was about $500. Punk ass nigga tried to sell it to her, i told that gay nigga u better give it to us.:angry:

well u know he did...I got two Macs now for less then $2,000:dance:

mane..i got a g5 iMac 20 in. with 1.8 ghz,2 gb ram, 160 gb hardrive for 500

also a powerbook 12 in 1ghz 1 gb,ram,60 gb hardrive for 350

Start with your local Craigslist. Some folks get them, have no idea what they are capable of and put them bitches up for adoption for next to nothing. Got my first one just like that. :yes:

yeah people are desperate on craigs list sometimes

Got rid of a shitload of old furniture in 2 days through craig's list - people started taking too long so when a sista called I told her I'd give her a king size mattress and frame for free- she was there in a flash :lol:
 
craigs list is kinda suspect though bc it's all used, no warranty etc....

you gotta worry about if the comp is clean (no virus')

True. It's not for the faint of heart. You need to know what you want and be willing to give up some protections you'd normally get from a store. But what I do is inspect the product as best I know how, and try to get them to agree to some warrenty period, IN WRITING! If you met in their homes, it's likely you can get it.

If you meet at a Starbucks...

its still waiting to be purchased - i keep getting hyped to buy a macbook pro 15in and then remember that im a fuckin cheapskate :lol: then I think about getting 2 macbooks instead of the pro -then I want a new riding mower then I say fuck all that :lol: then I remember I need a new laptop

Just found a apple for $1600! Apple 17" Macbook Pro 2.4GHZ 4GB RAM 200GB applecare !! - $1600 on craigslist! :yes::dance::dance: hope this ish aint no scam.

As long as the cat is local, you should be ok.

Don't turn over one dime if the seller flips the deal and wants you to agree to paying an "I trust you" 1000.00 for it if you agree to having it shipped to you after you send him the money. That would not be the deal I would recommend. lol.

Nothing wrong with used Macs because they last so long but I try to buy out of the box.


If you buy out of the box you get Apple Care. It's $350. Got a MacBookPro because it's portable and stuff is more likely to happen with a portable than say an iMac. I got an iMac 24 and the AC is only !69 but I didn't bother. Both Mac cost 2.5K.

They both came with a remote control for Frontrow (DVD,Photo, Music)
