Welp, looks like we have another culked out beta for Sheila GM who has zero clue of what he's doing.
Looking at his draft room I see a man playing politics and happy to have a good paying job. He doesn't have a passion to win at all cost right now. He's not my type of GM.
Brad is a west coast white bread negro with a weird obsession of Jared Goff. Acting like the Rams rejects and pass arounds are good enough to lead a franchise that doesn't have a history of turning shit into sugar.
Brad turned down better deals with the Panthers (6th) pick to give Matt the crybaby a nice new home in LA. Unlike HOFs Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson. Brad showed his white boy love and freed him to LA despite Matt never achieving such feats.
After Brads vote of confedence, Jared proceeds to be one of the most feeble and boring QBs in Lions history 3 wins, 6.6 ypp and 19 TD in 14 games give fans little confidence that things will ever be turned around.
Then there is his coach ol knee caps Dan. The guy who thru his 1st OC under the bus for marginal improvement form Jared. I don't know what his game plan for offense is. He claims to want to run the ball but hasn't invested in any RBs or QBs who can help us in that regard. Maybe he gonna eat the other teams kneecaps but until he does the 8th worst offense need more help than two WRs with recent history of injuries.
Dan seems to have insecurity issues because he doesn't want a strong leader on his football team. He's one of those coaches who needs to micromanage the locker room to keep control. He doesn't want vets he wants boys he can control. Eventually people see thru those types. Jared is the perfect type of loser for Dan. Won't take over his locker room like Rodgers and lets him be tha alpha he always wanted to be in the NFL.
Our wise GM has loaded up on deep receivers with a QB who got traded because his lack of propensity for throwing deep. Drafting Williams is a waste if Goff is going to throw 5 yard hitches and check downs. I don't see how you play action when your best RB stays hurt and you have undrafted FA RB behind him.
Any man with balls would have never brought in Goff, traded Goff after last year, or brought in a real QB to build around. Instead he doubles down on stupidity. I know for fact that they aren't using any statistical method that would make you arrive that the offense didn't need massive changes.
In a league were offense rules and stars get calls in the playoffs you would figure we would we searching for a DAY ONE game changer. Williams is that but with Goff hindering him and Holmes too timid to make a QB change he going to be limited by Goffs lack of aggression and Lions paper Lion run game.
The Lions will counter that with D wins championships.
Building a great Defense is a luxury do to contracts and player movement. Its been 20 years since Ray Lewis and Baltimore dominated football and every rule since then have been offensively slanted.
Every other SB team is smart enough to secure QB and teach them how to play NFL football. We aint. Sheila is a weak bitch and a weak leader. I would have pointed to Buffalo and told my staff if you can't do this in three years or less you won't be here. Get it done or else.
