During that time , he was a prolific all-around RB, racking up 1611 all-purpose yrds. and 19-TDs in his senior year. While with the Cornhuskers, he averaged 174.8 all-purposed yards per game. That total had him ranked 4th nationally. His career over-all total--7,186 ranked him 2nd in Big Ten history!. Thus, making him ONE of just eleven payers in FBS history to surpass 7,000 career all purpose yards.
