Congrats to Coach Hollins and the Memphis Grizzlies for pulling the improbably 1-8 upset over the Spurs last night.
Seeing the Grizzlies win got me thinking about how Coach Hollins was unsuccessful as a head coach his first attempt but was given the job during Heisley's cost-cutting, ineptly run front office days and he made the most of it.
There are a handful of black coaches that would make good head coaches IMO but will they get a fair chance at redemption like Coach Hollins?
We all know that for a brotha you have to be twice as good and you normally have less time to prove yourself (IE Coach Casey, Coach Smart,Coach Mitchell, etc)
