Lingerie as a gift is it thoughtful or selfish?

I would prefer it as a gift.. that way he can assure its something he likes... Whenever I used to pick out lingerie for my ex, he'd never like it. I liked one-pieces/teddys, he preferred two pieces... so I'd rather avoid that and let the guy buy it... I'll model it for ya

I don't think the act is selfish. Men are visual creatures so he will want to see his partner in something that appeals to him visually.

I was humble enough to start a thread attempting to ascertain some per tenant information on the relevance of buying gifts to both be considerate and chivalrous for our black women on behalf of myself and my bredren on this forum, in return you have personally given me nothing but half~ASSED generic evasive replies and then pretend to be insulted when I thank someone else for actually being helpful...

Mr. Love although I realize that some are all hooked on the getting of "things" through these commercial holidays, you should not be made to feel compelled to participate if its not something that you are feeling. You should be able to do these things because you simply felt like it. Just my humble opinion.

My job takes me to different countries (I'm in Pakistan right at this minute), so I usually try to get my lady friend a little something each time I go. Obviously, I'm not gonna find something sexy here in Paksitan, but I have a stopover in London before I come back to the U.S. I will check out the lingerie stores and get her something nice.

I know the ladies like to be comfy in lingerie. But some don't were lingerie period. Sometimes my lady friend doesn't. I gave her a silk kimono robe that I got her over in Sapporo, Japan. When she wears that, she usually isn't wearing anything underneath.
