LeBron James wears different colored Nike’s with words equality vs. Wizards
December 17, 2017
LeBron James has not been shy to speak about social issues throughout his career. He is also using basketball as a platform to promote positive change, and often gives his thoughts on different topics whether during interviews or on his social media accounts. However on Sunday, he wanted to send a message across without saying a word, and opted to let his shoes do the talking.

During the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards, LeBron James decided to wear one black and one white version of his Nike LeBron 15s with the word “equality” on them. It’s also very fitting that he wore them while in the nation’s capital, and in a nationally-televised game.

Once again, James has found a way to raise awareness on equality, which he has been preaching for a very long time now. Another issue the Cavs star has always been against is racial violence, and together with his friends Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony, they are all continuing to be vocal about their stand on it.

LeBron James on why he wore different-colored shoes
December 17, 2017
Another day in the life of Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, another series of topics to break down. This Sunday, among them is James’ decision to use basketball fashion as a medium to express his desire for absolute social equality in the country.

The three-time NBA MVP donned an uneven colored pair of Nike LeBron 15s Sunday against the Washington Wizards to convey his message. Also emblazoned on his shoes was the word “Equality.” That the Cavs played in nowhere else but the nation’s capital was symbolic also of James’ distaste for US President Donald Trump.

Here’s what James said about his decision to wear the said shoes, per Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post.

It has been made clear over and over before that LeBron James is one of the foremost non-political social change-pushers in the United States. The Cavs star used his elevated platform as a famous entity to raise awareness about the several injustices that the blacks and the minorities continue to endure to this day. It’s a huge, deep-seated issue James is dipping his hands on, but he’s setting a good example nonetheless.

LeBron James also dropped a triple-double (20 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds) in the Wizards game, helping the Cavs notch a 106-99 win, sending a separate message across the NBA that says he is still far from done.

I don't like how they worded the title. They could have easily said he wore "black and white shoes"

Watch Jordan come out with something similar to sell to his stans.

'Jordan "Equality" 25s vs. Jordan 4s' thread on BGOL coming soon.
Damn, you can't eat, you can't sleep, you can't think, you can't breath without thinking about Jordan. Insecure much. A great gesture like this by LeBron (or as you call him "Inkosi", are we allowed to call him that too, or is that near and dear to your heart?) and the first thing out of your gay mouth is a thought on Jordan. Gay much?

Damn you seriously cant let a thread go by that has LeBron in the title. You must open it and respond. You never let 1 about Inkosi slide by. And you're acting butthurt cuz you would buy MJ's "equality" knockoffs and be in all the Jordan 3 vs. Jordan 11 threads like the other stans.

Please show me a thread where I discuss, meaning carrying on a dialogue, about Jordans sneakers. I'll wait.
