Report: LeBron James Leaving CAA, Will Be Represented By Childhood Friend Rich Paul -- http://************/8rurone

LeBron James has gone from Aaron Goodwin to Leon Rose in 2005 to Rich Paul in 2012 -- http://bit.ly/U8oZeB

Here are Rich Paul's other clients (Tristan Thompson, Cory Joseph, Jonny Flynn) -- http://bit.ly/U8pdCt

@alanhahn LeBron's marketing direction and if other CAA players follow will be interesting to monitor.

Aaron was salty when James left and Leon Rose is said to be upset as well. Rose was a key figure in setting up the big three along with James Wade and Bosh.

Now that Lebron has won a ring his popularity will likely be at it's highest. Coming off the season he just had.

As Real GM said what everyone will be watching now will Lebron take more players with him. We remember how many players follow him to CAA (Chris Paul and others) now that Lebron has left you have to wonder will more follow him as before.

Also James and Durant are training together again and Durant drew a lot of criticism saying how can he train with the guy who beat his team 4-1 in the finals.

Durant responded back to the criticism and Skip Bayless

they are competitive on the court and don't take it easy on each other

they have no rivals they are #1 and #2 in the nba

bron is in his prime and kd is training with him getting better

we are lucky...

I agree with the great basketball. People like Skip says the same ol same ol.

He really went at KD saying where is his pride and his competitive nature. Saying "You think Kobe would train with Paul Pierce after losing to him in the Finals?"

As you said I think this is good. Two of the best training together

Best thing He has ever done in leaving caa

Oh yea. Many are predicting a power move. That James wants to build his own sports agency.

You know one thing. Rose is going try to hold on to Melo CP3 and the others

KD is keeping his basketball enemy closer
Who else could he train with to push him to make him better?

at the same time who could lebron train with who is even on his level and would push him as well?

they have no rivals there is nobody else to train with and gain
you can't simulate lebron
and you can't simulate kd

Skip just wants a wedge and some manufactured hate but there's none between them

and on the court they go hard at each other and play incredibly the competitiveness on the court has never and will never be questioned.

they're going to meet in the finals again this year

and if harden concedes and wants to take less to win more they'll be there for a while.

someone needs to tell harden he can still go to the hof coming off the bench winning 4 rings

That's why you got to give James props for moving in his own lane

Image that the biggest name in basketball after he retires got the biggest names under his agency

aND THATS WHY THAT SHOUDN'T BE TRAINING TOGETHER

Why wouldn't Lebron want to train with the best player in the league? Durant needs to push Lebron off of his coat tail and start training Perry Jones so he can be the next Durant just with better defense.

aND THATS WHY THAT SHOUDN'T BE TRAINING TOGETHER

:yes::yes::yes:

I DON'T side with Skip on anything. HOWEVER, I saw the finals last year. The passiveness I saw was NOT make believe or a figment of my imagination. Durrant did not give hard fouls, nor was he intimidatingly aggressive towards LBJ at all. There was NO opposition, from a straight killer-competitive stance, from KD on defense - at all. You CAN NOT have that. Dallas with jason Terry and that dude with the money tattoo, talked smack, fouled hard and INTIMIDATED LBJ. Got in his head. The Heat lost at the expense of James that series and the mental blow he took from Dallas were devastating. Sometimes the game is not about trading baskets to sow superiority like KD and LBJ did last year. Sometimes the edge is strictly mental.

Skip when wrong on the "owned" part, but I do feel like KD was too vanilla with is defense and allowed james to be more aggressive. There are no friends on the court - especially when you are in the finals. I don't think these two can be true rivals on the court because they are genuinely nice guys.:smh:

aND THATS WHY THAT SHOUDN'T BE TRAINING TOGETHER

I agree with this, usually, I wouldn't agree with Skip Baseless, but in this case, he has a point, when you train with someone, you learn all their strengths and weaknesses, after getting thumped in the Finals, why would KD want to play buddy cop with the kat that locked him down once in the Finals already? AAU took a lot of the competitive spirit from these kats....:smh:

Aint Paul the one that told him to do the Decision or was that Maverick

It was Paul or some other member of LeBrons Brontourage.

It is a power move, but LeBron needs to make sure he puts others in place that actually know what they are doing. LeBrons "buddies" have fucked him up image wise in the past, hopefully he has learned from that

Yep, KD looks like he wants to go cuddle with Bron after the games and shit...I think that Westbrook, Ibaka, and Perkins are the only kats on the Thunder team that want to cut out the Heat's heart and truly don't give a fuck about being "liked" by Bron and them...KD is a typical mama's boy in this regard, LBJ punked him in the Finals, and he still wants to carry his jockstrap....

The same KD that owned Kobe and the fakers? Oh yeah

You some revisionist ass niggas

KD put up his numbers in the finals every game, it was those other niggas who shit the bed like Ibaka, Harden, an Westbrook

They trained together LAST summer too and Durant took his team to the Finals and had half the world thinking he was better than James following that.

Real friend right there. Lebron never left his boy behind and put him in a good space.

Also big up to his best friend for taking advantage of the opportunity and not messing up like Vicks friends.

Skip Bayless has really turned sports fans into some mindless parrots.

But hey let KD go train with someone else. Bron will still go on with his training and the keyboard warriors can go on and find happiness.

However I will point out I am amused how now all of a sudden its everybody's fault except KD's that the Thunder lost. Which is absolute bullshit

What did Lebron do in the final besides getting away with some fouls? Miami players stepped up in the last game but in the every other game I think the refs calls threw the Thunder off.

Didn't Lebron fans spend almost 10 years blaming everyone for Lebron not getting a ring except Lebron?

It's a waste talking about this bc you already know Lebron fans have been waiting almost 10 years to say I told you so. I think Durant is the player the NBA always wanted Lebron to be. This guy was drafted by a losing organization and instead of running to another team bc he can't win in big games(Lebron) he stuck with his team and look at him now the best in the league. Durant will retire with more rings

This is only Skip's new way of hating on LeBron.

Skip would rather say that KD took it easy on James then say that LeBron progressed as a player, and THAT is why he won a ring.

The whole training argument thing is phony.

All throughout the playoffs people are calling KD a killer. Why? Not cause he got in peoples face, not cause he was trash talking, not cause he was physical, but because he was unstoppable in the clutch.

After the first 2 finals game, KD was still lights out in the 4th. It was all good then. No one cared that they trained together at that point. So what happened after that? He started to feel sorry for LeBron? No... he just got outplayed by the best player in the L.

The funny thing is that unlike LeBron, Durant will go after Skip in the media. And thats exactky what Skips wants.

If we have to explain to you what LeBron did in the finals then its clear you arent knowledgeable enough to be discussing basketball. Or you didnt watch the games.

Which is it?

Thunder lost 5 games to 1. That means the other team outplayed them.

Nigga Kobe may have more rings than everyone on the Heat and OKC combined.

Everyone has to fall off some day, but you're acting like that one little fucking ring negates the fact that LA won almost five rings in one decade.

If that's fake, that Miami and OKC must be non-existent.

Kevin Durant stayed with his team???????

Okay lets keep it real.

1. After Shaq and the 1999 lockout. The CBA changed. Meaning we have new rules regarding rookies and their contracts.

That being said no player since Shaq has left there team after their first 3 years unless their team decline to pick up their option.

Why is that important????

Because all Kevin Durant did was sign a contract extension after the his 3rd season. Same thing Lebron did, same thing Melo did, same thing Wade did, same thing Bosh did, same thing Dwight did, same thing Deron did and others.

Lets not act like Lebron didn't spend 7 years in Cleveland and before him the best player they drafted was Dre. That being said Kevin didn't do anything that Lebron didn't.

Difference is Kevin organization is smarter. Both teams were small market teams. Cleveland couldn't lure free agents and I will keep it real some of that was on Lebron and his unsure future but most of it was on Cleveland.

Look at OKC in the last three years they have not made a major signing. THIS TEAM JUST LEFT THE FINALS

Kevin Durant loves Oklahoma City and wanted to let the free agents this year know that too. Durant Tweeted this last night: Oklahoma City is a great spot to play basketball just in case FA’s forgot.

Durant deleted that Tweet a little bit later perhaps realizing better the situation that the Thunder are in right now.

Oklahoma City can’t really go after any free agents who are looking for anything more than close to minimum deals. That’s why the only name that we’ve heard come up with the Thunder so far is Hasheem Thabeet’s.

That being said Durant has a smart front office. Cleveland front office wasn't smart. Every move they made was short sighted and worst of all killed their cap space. While OKC drafted smart and hand out smarter contracts.

This is a business. Lebron sign an extension with an early opt out is smart. You have 4 years to prove to me you can build championship contender team if not I will leave.

Kevin Durant signed his deal with no opt because he trust his front office and with their body of work does he have any reason not to.

My point is all Kevin Durant did was the same thing every superstar player does coming off his rookie contract.

Now if he resigns with the team again and they still have yet to win a ring then you have some type of point

More importantly is Lebron actually hurt the Cavs future by being so good, so soon. KD put up close numbers early but his play/shot-selection didn't lead his team to more wins. Lebron took the cellar dweller Cavs to 1 or 2 games out of the playoffs off the break hence, they didn't get the several years of top-5 picks that SEA/OKC got which enabled Sam Presti and Troy Weaver to get the likes of Harden, Westbrook....

It's a funny game with the rules being the way they are. You're too good to continue to get franchise-changing players, but you're not good enough to make the playoffs. My philosophy is it's better to suck and just let your young guys hoop and develop and hope to add at least 2-3 of those top guys. OKC hit gold as an org by getting Green in BOS trade for Ray Allen which turned to Perk and drafting Russ, Harden, KD and Ibaka.... Presti and Weaver are just as responsible for their success as any player...

Yeah Lebron make less shots so we won't be good and make good front office moves :hmm:

I wasn't saying somebody should tank. I'm just saying that you can become a victim of you own "success"... David Robinson doesn't get hurt and miss the entire season and Spurs suck, they never get Tim Duncan and win 4 rings. Shit happens man and that's just the way the ball bounces... Now there have been teams to tank to get a high draft pick, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Especially when there's a perceived once-in-a-generation type player coming available in the next draft...

True. but for the most part KD came to play and he did show up

westbrook ibaka and harden straight up shit the bed that series

westbrick and his bad shoots, harden non existant and ibaka a non factor

you mad? all of Kobe's rings except 1 came with having a dominate big man lets not act brand new like the nigga got there with nobody

bronze got to the finals twice with NOBODY

OKC got there by building through the draft, Cleveland refused to build period

keep it 100

A DAMN GOOD POINT

Sonics record when they drafted KD

07-08 20-62 this led them to get the 4th pick in the draft and Westbrook
08-09 23-59 this led them to get the 3rd pick in the draft and Harden

Now the Sonics have KD Westbrook and Harden

2009-10 50-32 in their first year together

Lebron first season with the Cavs

2003-04 35-47 which led to them drafting Luke Jackson

2004-05 42-40 one spot out of the playoffs

As you said too good too soon.

This is why Orlando plan is a joke. You need a great FO to pull this plan off and luck
