If the prices are indeed on the wall, the woman filming is trifling.
$45 seems excessive, but if it's just clear coat why not do them yourself??? Especially if you "work with hair & nails".
I enjoyed how the other black woman in the video just kept getting her nails done, no solidarity.
I never understood going to Asians and Latins for anything. I would be dammed if I got a shape up from a white, Latin or Asian barbershop. It would never happen.
With all that being the case, I think shorty, all things considered is a fool.
This isn't new. Chicks been complaining about getting their hair cut too short, or chemicals that are too harsh being put in their hair for decades now enmasse from these shops.

`From my experiences with women of different races, I think that many of them be on some low-key sonning folks to boost their own ego. These types of women feed off of watching someone bow down to them and cater to their needs. For example, I know one chick who pays a Russian woman 50 bucks to wax her pussy, and I told her she could save the bread by doing it herself, he answer back as it's not the same, meaning watching someone be forced to do something they normally don't like doing is a power trip that makes them feel special. The reason why not too many sisters have nail solons is that they would feel degraded and low doing that shit.
"It's different" is just an excuse on her part. She doesn't want to answer you honestly so she gave a non answer. A more forthcoming answer would be "because I feel like it" or "don't feel like it".
The bitches I know who can do hair and nails, absolutely do their own. I believe it's more traditional to export finances out of our communities. Especially for black women, they just don't think about the politics and are not mentally tethered to even being apart of anything unto themselves.
When I get my hair braided if it's not free I pay a homegrown from around the way. If they aren't available, An African or Haitian or Jamaican who owns a shop.
I'll never pay a non black to do shit to my hair.
The one exception to keep it 100, was a papi who worked in an all black barbershop. And only cause everyone else had a wait.
Besides u know an African American nail tech would get zero business from her own.
