This is a question that has been running through my mind, because my gf's sister is in a situation made me think of it. She's married to a dude that's a piece of shit, and it basically fucked her life up.
She got with this dude a few years ago, then he disappeared for a couple of months (cheating), then shows up, they get back together, asks to marry her and she accepts. I get with my gf around this time, I never met dude, but just hearing about him, I knew he sounded like a dick. She calls my girl on her honeymoon and says "I made a mistake." She gets pregnant, stays with dude, gets pregnant again. You get the idea, I finally meet him and yes, he's a piece of shit. Now she separated from him, can't find a job, and is living with her parents again with two kids.
So here's my question: at what point do you roll over look at a man and say "I can't do this anymore"? How much is enough?
