Ok i have your attention ladies. Ok don't get distracted that is one of our own.

The purpose of this thread is to get a lil feedback from the female perspective.

Bigirl's thread kinda had me thinking about it so I figured I'd just ask.

So here it is. The intention of SOL was to be a spot where the ladies could relax without the burden of having to prove oneself a female. A spot where there weren't the hassles etc. Laid back carefree
Somewhere we could chat.

Bonus being that the men who I welcome wholeheartedly would be a part of it.

It seems that we have so many females on this board yet approx 20-25 post period. Thats quite low with the amount of roll called ladies we have. And this is going on the trust that everyone who has called is indeed female.

Is there any reason ladies?



Lurkers please feel free to chime in.
Is there a factor of being comfortable with the board and its members?
Is there something lacking?
What would make you ladies post more often?

But on the topic. I try to participate as much as I can. Sometimes if deep issues are posted I won't post all the time. Mostly because I'm just lazy sometimes.

As an insomniac myself I too know about the dead that overcomes this place at times. Hence the questions in the first place.
I think perhaps that the still lingering negativity of some towards SOL is perhaps playing a part in the whole thing. I could be wrong. I'm not sure.

I do notice those that are active however and you are most definitely one of them. Peace n Love sista.

well some may not feel comfortable commenting on the topics posted because to some they may feel a bit "mature". for example, the post about husbands, being 30+, kids and such...some people don't feel comfortable commenting on them because it doesn't apply to them and they don't want to get called out on it.

i have no problems stepping out of my comfort zone but maybe having more topics that are just as deep as the "mature" ones that those of us who are "coming into maturity" can relate to more other than sex...lol (yeah i know crazy since this is a sex board).

also sometimes i don't post in threads because they are too polarized and that annoys me sometimes....like they will be like "fuck men they aint shit" then there are the ones that are like "women need to step up, yall suck, yall are the reason dudes aint shit" lol. i mean if i really want to say it i will be there have been times i have just kept it moving

also...i believe that some of the replies to questions are fake as hell. life is not as cut n dry put the post are. granted, we don't have the time (or shouldn't) have the time to get into all the complexities of life but stop stuntin on people making it seem like you can just cut off feelings asap or that they are crazy dumb for some of the situations they are in. we all can attest to being in situations that we didn't plan to be in, or in them longer than we should have been and all of that so stop stuntin...be real. yeah there is tough love and trying encourage ppl to get out of bad stuff BUT when u try to play like "never u, ur dumb" that defeats the purpose of posting "advice".

^yeah those are just things that i notice that i don't like...i just expect a lot LESS of it on this side compared to the main board and for the most it is but sometimes it gets out of hand

Well I had wondered if that wave of bait threads and some others were some of the haters from the other side trying to destroy SOL.

I am sure that is a possibility or it if and I said IF we gave them the benefit of the doubt and they were truly sincere in the asking no matter how "questionable" then I would think it a good thing that they did ask. Like you said some of the threads seemed like baiting.

Do you think perhaps of posting stuff that may be of concern to you?
What we must remember is that SOL is the product of BGOL. Therefore some of its facets will make its way to this side of the border. We just roll with the punches thats all.

Uh what was the question...oh yeah well yall know I love participating on SOL and personally I think part of its charm is it still retains the parts I enjoyed about the main board (humor and diverse viewpoints) with better moderation to keep things from getting out of hand.

I really don't want SOL to become another "woman" board. I like the mixed crowd and interacting with some of my fav posters from the main board here.

If I had one suggestion it would be more naked Bborn and Sean69 and well just more dick and porn... yes, more dicks, certainly more dicks

Well I like to post on SOL more than BGOL and I try to participate as much as possible (even created my first thread) lol but sometimes the guys come over here with their BGOL mentality and try to fight you. I had one person (of the male persuasion) actually PM me and tell me to ease up on giving my opinion. He wanted me to ease into it since I'm new. These guys are something else so I'm sure they may be a big deterrent for the ladies, even on this side.
