But I thought about something that she said...Why is it easier to tear down each other instead of build up one another.
Can you give another sister a compliment? Walk pass and smile and say hello?
Or do you sit w/ your girls and talk about everything that is wrong w/ the next sister...

There is an AA that I work w/ that asked me if I was from here..I took it as if she meant if I was from the states as folks always want me to be from the Islands or Africa. But anywho I said from Indy why? She said most women here are stuck up and you are always smiling and speaking to me.

I told her that is just some women in general and to change her way of thinking...Then you wouldnt even notice those heffaz (yeah I said it) I smile and speak because I am happy w/ me.

Sometimes people think someone wants them, just because they are nice to them But in reality...They just are being nice.
If that happens to you I suggest looking at it as a whole...The girl may not even want you...But just think you are cool.

Editing to add-If you are confident does it matter if a chick is attracted to you or not? You know your straight so......It shouldnt phase you.

Of course I compliment- when it's needed. Out of the folks I'm around which is like mostly family with the exception of one person (damn I need to get out more) I don't have anything to compliment on. But if I'm out and someone got something I like, I'll compliment.

I love to compliment other sisters because I want them to know that I have love for them and hell if your outfit is hot or I like your hair, why not say it?
