Ladies...Detangling Your Hair

so ok *deep breath*


my cuzzin asked me to help her detangle her hair cuz she just took braids out and she was havin some issues.

i was like ok bet.....MAN WHEN SHE PULLED OFF HER SCARF I BOUT DAMN NEAR DIED

turns out she left her braids in (rows) WAYYYYYY to long to the point that i REALLY believe some of her hair locked up

she has reallllly think hair and i was like DAMN


i usually just use Paul Mitchell or Infusium 23 and maybe some Humectress in my hair to detangle it BUT iono

what do u use? what techniques do you have?

cutting is a LAST resort.

this some BULLSHIT...i really feel bad for her

I'm on a PDA so no I can't post a pic. But Google it. It's a leave-in detangler/conditioner

Part it in sections and apply alot of Kids Organics Hair Nutirion Protein Conditioner. Then start from the bottom and work your way up. I'm about to take out my sewn and I know my hair is gonna be very course since I'm transitioning...(not looking forward to it)

Oh and take your time - don't want to pull hair from the scalp...

When its time to take down my hair I always make sure I have a good strong conditioner to use for help with the detangling.

if her hair is chemically treated is suggest keracare...best detangler

i think carol's daughter has a detangler for natural hair
