I don't know why Black women don't strive for bodies like Angela‘s as a standard instead of Oprah/Mo'Nique bodies and make excuses for it.

You body looks tight. This is the eqivalent of a female posting T.O. or Reggie Bush and sayin fellas get ripped like this. I know dudes who train like hell and don't look like that...Itls called genetics.

No it's like the equivalent of a female posting T.O. or Reggie Bush and saying fellas get ripped like this and guy saying I may never get to that level, but I want to be more fit. Hell men and women these days could give to damns about how they look, but they ogle over sculpted hard bodies.:hmm:

I don't think black women (or any woman) should strive to emulate and tone their body or make their body look like any others because we're all built differently. I don't even think women hold up their standards of African American beauty to be restricted to Oprah and Monique. We have a diverse range of beautiful women in the African diaspora with different skin tones and body types. What one should strive to do is achieving their personal best with their body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Even 40+ pound overweight Oprah is probably healthier than some skinny or slightly obese women because of the exuberant lifestyle she leads... However, I'm sure this can be contested.
